Raíces Cultural Center’s Caribbean History Study Group

Read about and discuss the complex social, political and cultural history of the Caribbean. Throughout the summer of 2021 we will be focusing on the history of the island of Puerto Rico as well as reviewing the modern day social movements across the island.
Join us every other Tuesday at 7pm.
Required reading for our first meeting: Puerto Rico: The Four-Storeyed Country and Other Essays by José Luis González – Second Essay: Literature and National Identity in Puerto Rico.
