Join us in the morning for the Gathering Ground Call to Collaboration followed by an evening of performances at the NJ Governor’s Awards in Arts Education.
June 2nd Event Day Schedule:
8:30 AM to 3:30 PM – Gathering Ground Call to Collaboration
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM – Red Carpet Experience, Student Art Exhibit and Networking
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM – 2023 New Jersey Governor’s Awards in Arts Education
MORNING: A special day of solution-driven conversation about the future of arts education in New Jersey. It’s our first ever Arts Education focused Gathering Ground Call to Collaboration (C2C). The C2C will bring together over 220 educators, non-profits leaders, artists, teaching artists, school board members, parents, students, business people, legislators…everyone who has a stake in ensuring every child in NJ receives an arts education that cultivates identity, agency, and belonging. EVENING: You are invited to a stunning celebration of youth artists and educators! The New Jersey Governor’s Awards in Arts Education provides an extraordinary opportunity to recognize and celebrate some of New Jersey’s most talented students and dedicated leaders in arts education. The awards program includes stellar performances, a visual arts exhibition, an exciting “red carpet” pre-show event, and inspiration from alumni connecting us to over 40 years of New Jersey student and educator Governor’s awardees
