Division of Mental Health
As the primary governmental agency responsible for planning, administration, and coordination of services, the Mercer County Division of Mental Health advocates for the continued enhancement of a robust, client-centered wellness, and recovery-oriented system of care for all residents requiring various levels of mental health care.
In conjunction with the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (NJDMHAS), the Division of Mental Health oversees all State-contracted and County-contracted community mental health services to ensure the coordination of a community-based mental health system that is inclusive, collaborative, accessible, and consumer centered. All County funds are awarded via contracts to agencies via the Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
The Division of Mental Health, in conjunction with the Mercer County Office on Addiction Services, has published a resource directory to assist those seeking mental health services and/or addiction treatment services.
